Spring Course 2017 - Primary School, 3rd-4th Class

Classes take place in Oatlands College, Stillorgan, and St Paul's College, Raheny. This term begins the week of Monday January 9th and runs for 12 teaching weeks, finishing the week of April 3rd. There are no classes the week of the February mid-term (classes not running February 20th-25th inclusive).

This course is based on Scratch, a drag and drop programming language which allows students to quickly grasp the basic concepts of programming before proceeding on to more advanced and powerful languages.

The Grade I classes are suitable only for students who have previously attended Scratch classes at the Academy of Code.

Students who have previously attended one of our Processing-based courses will still find plenty to enjoy in this course*, while for those new to programming this is a perfect place to start. Click here to read our FAQs, or Contact Us if you have other questions.

*3rd and 4th class students who have previously attended a Processing course are welcome to register on either the beginners scratch course, or the 5th-6th class Processing courses - please Contact Us if you have any questions about this.
