What we offer for schools
The Academy of Code is the proud coding partner of over a dozen primary and secondary schools across Dublin and Leinster. We offer a broad range of courses for students, including one-off workshops, transition year programs, primary school short courses (6-10 week duration), after-school tech clubs and more.
Alongside our core coding curricula for primary and secondary school we also offer training courses in Google’s GSuite, Microsoft Office and other common tech products, as well as teacher training programs to help staff keep up with the fast paced modern world of technology!
Transition Year Modules
We offer one-day workshops, full year coding courses with several sessions per week, and everything in-between. Our core transition year programs give students a chance to really get to grips with coding, and give them a proper taste of what a career in technology is all about.
Our transition year modules are surprisingly affordable, starting at less than €5/student/hour, and can be tailor-made to suit every school’s demands. For a no obligation chat about what we can do for your school get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org, call our office on 01-524-2554, or call Tom, our Director of Business Development, directly on 087-901-9062.
Primary School Classes
Our in-school classes offer primary school students the opportunity to foster a life-long love of technology. Whether it’s a short course or a year-round program, our classes can integrate seamlessly into any school’s plans. Our expert tutors will excite and engage students from 2nd class up, and can we work with any school to coordinate our material with the school’s desired outcomes.
For schools without computer facilities we can also arrange rental of laptops and other required equipment.

Our after-school tech clubs offer students a weekly dose of tech and fun. These classes are a brilliant way for schools to cater to students and parents who want a solid grounding in coding and technology. Generally parents pay for these classes directly themselves, so there’s no impact on the school’s budget, and running them after school means there is no impact on the school’s timetable.
Secondary school tech clubs are a great way to prepare junior cycle students for the upcoming Leaving Cert Computer Science course, and also for Transition Year students to fulfil their Gaisce requirements.
We run Tech Clubs in both primary schools and secondary schools. Cost depends on a number of factors, but is generally in the order of €10-11/student/hour.
