AI Study Course
Learn to leverage AI to supercharge your study - live online seminar with Academy of Code founder, educator and technologist Diarmuid Ó Muirgheasa
AI is a superpower
Used correctly, AI can be a superpower for learning across all subjects. It can be an infinitely patient teacher, explaining concepts in great detail and then zooming out to help students to contextualise that knowledge.
It can create practice questions in maths, sample reading comprehensions in foreign languages and flashcards for learning off formulas, quotes and more.
There has never been a technology like AI, which has grown so quickly and gives such a huge advantage to those who use it. And yet, many students aren’t using it to supplement their learning, but rather to replace their thinking - and this is the danger that comes wrapped in all that opportunity.
90 minute online seminar
In this session students will learn about what AI technology is, and how it can work for them. They will receive instruction on key revision techniques which can be applied across all subjects, as well as learning about the mistakes that students make with AI.
By the end of the seminar students should understand how to leverage AI tools to maximise their own learning potential, with key takeaways for a wide range of different subjects. Questions will be welcomed throughout the seminar, and there will be some time at the end allowed for a Q&A as well.
Live by Zoom on Tuesday September 30th, 2025, 19:30-21:00
